Galvanically Isolated High-Voltage Measurement for Stack-Level Testing

Accurate stack-level monitoring in electrolyzers and fuel cells involves challenging measurement conditions, particularly with DC voltages up to 1500 V. During the expo, we demonstrated how Gantner’s Q.series High-Voltage Isolation Modules effectively address these requirements. With individual galvanic isolation per channel, our system prevents ground loops and ensures interference-free, precise measurements. From single-cell testing to full-stack validation, our modules help streamline the transition from R&D into operational deployment.

Advanced EIS Diagnostics for Fuel Cells and Electrolyzers

Real-time detection of degradation mechanisms is crucial for maintaining the sustained efficiency and operational lifespan of hydrogen systems. At the event, we presented our multi-channel Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) solution, which covers frequencies from millihertz to kilohertz, capturing both slow diffusion phenomena and rapid electrode kinetics. Easily integrated into existing setups and featuring advanced predictive analytics via Python, our EIS solution significantly enhances system reliability and simplifies ongoing performance optimization.

Precision Cryogenic Temperature Monitoring for LH₂ Systems

Accurate temperature monitoring at cryogenic conditions (~20 K or -253 °C) is crucial for safe and efficient liquefied hydrogen storage. Expo visitors explored our specialized Q.series X A105 CR cryogenic measurement module, designed to reduce sensor self-heating and drift drastically. With ultra-low excitation currents (7.5 µA), this solution ensures real-time precision, minimizing hydrogen boil-off and enhancing operational safety.
